What Happened Next?
Our story begins a long time ago, in the land of the far north; where beavers roam free and moose are more then just mythical creatures. Here I am, sitting in my igloo one night watching hockey with my friends when all of a sudden we ran out of poutine…
Always the lifesaver, I threw on my toque and headed on an adventure. I drove through the forests of western Canada, climbed the heights of the rocky mountains, and cruised through the prairies. At this point I realized that I may have gone a little too far. Stopping to grab an Ice Cap from Timmies for the ride home, I came face to face with a 33 foot tall magical talking moose.
This magical talking moose spoke to me very moose-like. He said, “Hey you, down there. Yes – you in the toque. You will make amazing, Canadian made souvenirs and sell it to the adoring public.”
Wondering if somebody spiked my Ice Cap, I calmly said “Yes random talking magical moose man, I will follow your instructions and sell awesome, Canadian souvenirs and sell it to the masses. Thanks EH.” and promptly headed home.
When I got home, nobody was there. Considering I had been gone for about a month, it seemed quite logical. I assumed most people left after the beer ran out.
Fast forward a couple of years, and after a lot of tinkering, poutine and random beaver sightings, everything has snowballed into what it is today. And that my friends is how MiWay was born.

Call me Ben. After working in the corporate world for far too long, I came to the realization that playing with large, sharp & expensive tools was my calling. You can find me creating awesome adventures in the great outdoors of British Columbia with two smaller mini-me’s or enjoying a poutine at the quintessential Canadian restaurant, Costco.
